I’m absolutely amazed that we’re running the last July card of the meet and I’m anxious to get into the “real” Saratoga. After a good chat with @jtmassey79 last night I’ve settled on a P3 in the opening legs of today’s card.

Race 1 – I’m hoping to catch a price in this first leg and am using most of the field as works were not helpful. I want the most of #2 Stylish Rags, #5 Our Bella Nicole and #6 Pazzion. I also want a little bit of #1 Doyouknowwhoiam and #3 Spring Break. I emphasized those trainers with good 1st start statistics and tossed the 4 on trainer firster stats as well as the 7 as only posts 1-6 have won a race on the dirt at 6.5f or shorter.

Race 2 – I liked the #2 Missile Bomb and #8 Getoffmyback the most in here but completely tossed the 8 on the post bias mentioned in the Race 1 blurb. I realize I’m tossing the favorite here but Saez has been riding well and I like him on these types so its a single here.

Race 3 – I’m only going two deep here and using my top pick #6 Sursum Corda who has gotten better every start and both Wilkes and Rosario have been having stellar meets. The other horse I want is one mentioned by @jtmassey79 last night and that’s the #4 Empire Lady. She has yet to show form good enough to win here but Toner is known to bring them along slowly, TGaff is a great turf jock and she has the pedigree to love this distance so she’s worth a look at a solid price.
