Race 2 – #5 Dorothy’s Dreams: In her Belmont debut she was very green, dwelt coming out of the gate and got shuffled back over 15 lengths then hung very wide around the turn before making a solid move coming home. Terranova normally doesn’t fire at first asking, but his Maiden 2nd timers fire at 26% with a $3.56 ROI and we caught an almost identical situation with the same owner, trainer, and jockey on the 23rd with Skyler’s Starship who paid $16.80 to win. With some other very hyped horses in this race I expect we get a solid price on a horse who should be a massive player in her 2nd start.

Race 7 – #8 Carson’s Run: The With Anticipation is always a fun race for two-year-olds going a route on the turf. There appears to be plenty of speed in this race, although sometimes it doesn’t materialize the way it appears on paper. Nevertheless, I think Carson’s Run gets a great setup in this field. He was very professional in debut, tracking off of a moderate pace and just getting up at the wire. He showed a great late kick that day, which should work in his favor today with more speed signed on. He is already proven over this course and distance, something that not many others can claim. Dylan Davis has been sneaky good with Clemente lately, winning two of three starts together this meet and three of eight over the past 90 days. I’m hoping Dylan being named on the mount keeps the price fair around the 7/2 ML.

Race 9 – #6 Amani’s Eagle: Looks to be the speed of the speed in this race and should be able to get a fairly easy lead. Has races 2 and 3 back that are competitive here. Morley is 22% 1st off the claim and should move forward off that bad effort last time out. Great price on the ML at 10-1.
